Hinemoa Estate overlooks the beautiful Omaha Beach, just 40 minutes north of Auckland. The vineyards sit facing north to maximise the grapes exposure to the sun, especially over the long, warm NZ summers. Syrah does well here, and when blended with Merlot and Malbec this delicious Moana blend was born. 2014 was a good year in the north and after 5 years ageing in the bottle we think it’ll be great to drink now. Think a deep ruby in the glass with notes of forest fruits, white pepper and French oak - let it breathe for a bit and then dive in. - Wine Central Tasting Panel
