"The Waipara Valley is known for its aromatic wines like Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Pinot Gris, just to name a few. While not officially an ‘aromat’, Chardonnay also does well here and the 2020 from Francesca Bay is a great example. Its well-rounded, with easy acidity, ripe stone fruit and a hint of oak on the finish.
